Tall Timber

Mass timber today is making the news.  With projects going vertical all over the USA, its benefits are beyond dispute now.  Carbon capture, efficient installation, and high consumer demand for biophilic materials make multistorey CLT and Glulam a real competitor in the built environment.  Prescriptive solutions in the IBC (International Building Code)  2021 make building multistory "tall timber" towers economically and practically feasible for developers.

  Recently, Red Falls timber spoke at Rothoblaas' 2023 Mass Timber Seminar.  Our presentation highlighted that although it may not make the news as often, applications for Mass Timber are everywhere (not just in tall timber).  Hospitality, sports halls, bridges and education are mass timber sweet spots that the market should not ignore.
